Assistant Registrar

The Assistant Registrar contributes to a student focused advising and administrative staff. This position will manage and coordinate data, information, and systems critical to describing and maintaining academic curriculum, policies, and procedures. This person will engage with students as they enter the office and be the welcoming face of the office as well as assist the Registrar with the production of the College Catalog. Additionally, the Assistant Registrar will produce and analyze internal reports; assist with commencement and graduation reporting; manage day to day functions of student records; cross-train and serve as a back-up for the other assistant registrars; and be the lead for the technology used in the Registrar's Office i.e. Student Planning. This position will also be encouraged to participate on collegewide committees and engage in groups outside of the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in higher education and have strong attention to detail.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
